CCS/TIDM-1000: TIDM-1000

Part Number: TIDM-1000

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I would like to buy TIDM-1000 board along with controller board. Here two features are there.

• Three-Phase Input 208 VL-L 60 Hz, Output 600-V
DC Nominal, 1.2 KW
• Three-Phase Input 400 VL-L 50 Hz, Output 700-V
DC Nominal, 2.4 KW.

My doubt is Same board can be used for both inputs? (i.e., for 208 and 400 V).

Or Any  option to select for different inputs? Please suggest me.

  • Hi,

The expert best suited to answer your question is out this week. Please expect a response next week. We appreciate your patience.

  • Hi Bhusha,

Yes, the same board can be used for both inputs. This is based on the consideration for applications of US and Asian(or Europe). Please follow the user guide to start your experience. Good luck.

    Regards,
    Chen
  • Thanks Mr. Chen,
And please let me know, using this board , can I go upto 440VAC,L-L, 50Hz?
If so what will be the output voltage?. I think it will be 720VDC. Wright?
  • Bhushan,

We only tested for 400VAC VL-L. This means whenever we selected the components we selected them such that the stresses under 400VAC are met.

There may be some over design.

Now whether this can work at 440VAC, this should be an assessment you make as part of your engineering evaluation of the design. You will need to make sure you verify the stress on all components and verify they are correctly rated. This type of assessment is not something we can provide as part of an effort allowed to answer a forum post as it can take an enormous amount of time. Hope you understand.
