LAUNCHXL-F28379D: Is there any provision for speed measurement in launchxl-f28379d c2000 ?

I want to read and operate speed signal from motor. Technical reference manual says that ecap module can be used for speed measurement.

But in launchpad f28379d i did not find ecap pin.

How can i read speed signal in launchxl f28379d ?

Kailas,

The ECAP is accessible through the Input X-BAR. Please refer to the C2000ware examples for using the ECAP.

Additionally, there is the EQEP module if you are using an encoder for speed and position measurement.

Here in this image J4 and J8 has OPXBAR pins.. Is this can be used for ecap ?

Please refer to the F28379D TRM (http://www.ti.com/lit/spruhm8 ) for the GPIO Input X-BAR Section. Any GPIO can be routed to the ECAP through the GPIO Input X-BAR.

The Output X-Bar routes different internal signals to a number of GPIOs (noted with OPXBARx in the LaunchPad pinout.)
