CCS 3.3 On CHip Flash Programmer doesn't recognize TMS320F28235 correctly

I'm trying flash TMS320F28235 using XDS560PCI board with CCS3.3.The Flash programmer says that it doesn't support part with ID = 0x00E8. And it says that for TMS320F28235 ID should be 0x00F7. But the datasheet says that ID must be 0x00E8. CCS 4.x Flash utility finds it normally, but I don't wanna use this clunky IDE because of lack of functionality and pretty slow operation of Java-based eclipse.

Is any workaround for this situation ?

CCS 3.3 requires Service Release 12 along with the last chip support package

Double check if you have updated CCS 3.3 with both Service Release 12 and the chip support package

Don't blame you on CCSv4 in general, but the flash programming feature actually works quite well and I prefer it to CCSv3.3. You simply connect to the target and load the program, it automatically runs the flash programmer.
