CCS/TMS320F28379D: Where in the documentation is the memory address for CPU02TOCPU01_PASSMSG 0x0003FBF4 in the IPC example documented?

In the IPC example code there is a define for CPU02TOCPU01_PASSMSG 0x0003FBF4 in the example code cpu01_to_cpu02_ipcdrivers_cpu01.cpp.

I can't figure out in the documentation (memory tables) where this address comes from or how it is calculated.

I should add that it looks like 0x0003FBF4 is 11 16-bit addresses away from the end of the CPU2 to CPU1 MSGRAM. Was that starting address chosen for any particular reason?

Graham,

There is no specific reason for using that. In general people use start of address for in their application hence it was better to use end address so that it does not overlap with application usecase if there is any.
