TMDSSOLARPEXPKIT: Build 1 inverter doesn't work. Constantly resets.

Hi I have recently purchased a TMDSSOLARPEXPKIT.

I have followed the controlSUITE guides for HW setup and have successfully been able to program the f28027 PV emulator code and the f28035 PV inverter code build level 1.

I have connected my circuit up as the per the HW instructions (BS1 to BS3 and BS4 to BS5).

All switches and jumpers are in the correct position as per the HW instructions in the PVInverter_f2803x pdf.

When I run my program, the relay clicks on followed immediately by clicking off again. I notice during this time, the power LD1 and LD2 LEDs go out.

After this the C2000 processors are reset (I think due to the voltage dip) and restart their programs which again repeats the process, endlessly resetting.

I have checked the fuse which appears to be fine.

What could be causing this issue?

    Jesse,

    could be two issues, one you have a faulty board, second you have a error in the setup.

    To eliminate the faulty setup issue, I will recommend you to check the below

    does the relay issue happen immediately after you run the code? or once you claer the trip?

    If it happens immediately after running the code, please remove the following, bananba cable from Main-BS4 to Main-BS5 and repeat the steps

    report if you are able to atleast run then??

    if not, remove BS1-BS3 wire and repeat and report.

    If not. you can optionally remove both and connect an external power supply across Main-BS5 and GND and supply with 11-12V (note only supply the voltage post step 17) and see atleast if you are able to run the builds.
