Dear Champion

I want to know:

When using SFRA, do I need an emulator?

Or can I use only the USB to serial port?

    Emma,

    The SFRA GUI can initiate the sweep and log the data over SCI and hence JTAG is not necessary.

    Though typically on control cards we use the USB port that emulates a serial port plus JTAG. However you can disable the JTAG with a switch on the control card and use just the serial portion. It works.
