Thanks for the response, I have checked the solution but the above example is with EEPROM. But I need to communicate between two delfino controllers with one as master and other active as slave using I2C. Since both are controllers here i am not sure how to establish the communication. Since I'm setting the slave address in the own address register on one of the controllers which will act as slave, So i need to know hoe to call this own address of the slave controller from the Master delfino controller. This is my understanding so far,Please let me know on how to proceed further.

Once you configure the slave device with an address, you can create a similar function on master's end :

Uint16 ei_uiI2CWrite(Uint16 Slave_address, Uint16 No_of_databytes, Uint16 Write_Array[])

This would set : I2caRegs.I2CSAR bit as slave address and I2caRegs.I2CDXR as write array (in a for loop)

You can simply edit the EEPROM code and I2C peripheral initialization (for master and slave resp.) to get this up and running.

Do you want me to create the function as mentioned above. if so which element are you referring to as the SLAVE_ADDRESS here.

As for master you can refer: void I2CA_Init(void) from EEPROM code. Here the init mentions the slave address.

I2caRegs.I2CSAR.all = 0x0050;

Another option could be to use the i2c internal loopback example ( also in the same area) and split the master Vs slave code onto 2 different mcus.

Thanks for your response.  I tried what you have suggested and the below is how I have initialized in order to pass it, but I didn't get any results out of it nor any clock signal. Where am i going wrong. Do let me know.
