TMS320F28069: Instaspin at low RMP

My customer is having trouble in getting the AC induction motor to start and run smoothly at low RPMs (<500) using Instaspin dev board. There is a lot of torque ripple.

They don’t know if they have something set wrong, or if the chip is just not capable of driving the motor that slowly.

What's the pole pairs of the motor? The sensorless instaSPIN-FOC should work well under low speed if the electric frequency is higher than 10Hz . Customer might disable power warp function for low speed if he wants to run with load, and need to tune the speed loop regulator for low speed also.

Yanming, per customer:
The Instaspin kit I have is DRV8301-69-KIT. I am using Instaspin Motion GUI interface to run a AC motor. The motor has 4 poles, rated speed is 3600rpm or120Hz. There are some visible speed ripple under 100rpm, is it normal for Instaspin algorithm?
