CCS/LAUNCHXL-F280049C: CCS cannot connect to LaunchXL - even with firmware downgrade

 -Replace only the uscif folder with the older version. Then manually load the firmware to the XDS110 using the XDSDFU command.

Please pay special attention to step 3 in the FAQ advisory: e2e.ti.com/.../753823

by default, the emupack will want to install at the C:\ti level. You need to ensure that it installs at the C:\ti\CCS(version)\ccs_base level.

I tried your suggestion - no luck. BTW - I am on macOS Mojave (10.14.1).
So I went on:
1. Deinstalled any TI software
2. Reinstalled newest versions (CCS v8.3.0, C2000ware, EmuPack)
3. Replaced folder ucsif as suggested by the post you mentioned.
4. Downgraded firmware as suggested in the other post
5. Restarted CCS
-> Still no luck.

Any further hints? We can launch a Teamviewer session if we need to ...
