TMS320F28335: Pin 8 and pin 9 swap on my pcb

Part Number: TMS320F28335

Hello,

I have design a board using tms320f28335 and due to my mistake on pcb footprint pin 8 and pin 9 are swapped. These pins are vdd and vss pins.

I want to ask from TI expert if i does not sold pin 8 and pin 9 because vdd and vss pins are more than one then   its ok or not?

My controller will work proper or i have to redesign and re-manufacture pcb?

I am waiting for your response

Thank you

Umer

  • Umer,

The chip is designed to work with all Vdd and Vss pins properly connected. If you don't connect pins 8 and 9, the chip may appear to work on the bench at room temperature, but may not work or meet published specs under other conditions. You need to redo your board design.

    Sorry,
    David
