Dear Support:
I am working on a schematic where we are using (3) F28069M devices and need to daisy chain them such that will allow me to download and debug each of them using CCS using one debugger (i.e. XDS100v2). I am using the standard 14-pin JTAG debugger header and was looking for an example that showed how to do this? Is there a reference schematic you can provide from previous EVMs/projects y'all have done with multiple C2000's on-board that I could use so that I wire this up correctly on my schematic? If not, is there a document you can reference that addresses how to do this using C2000 devices? Please advise.
Thanks,
Tim
Tim,
I would start with the guide here http://dev.ti.com/tirex/#/?link=Development%20Tools%2FDebug%20Probes%2FXDS%2FDocuments%2FXDS%20Target%20Connection%20Guide
There is a link to multi-devices on the right hand side or just scroll down in the section(I can't figure out how to give a direct URL to the section unfortunately).
These devices don't have a EMU0/1 so they can be pulled high at the to keep them in a known state.
I don't have a ready made example we have done locally, but will dig a bit more to make sure we haven't seen something inconsistent with the diagram from above.
Best,
Matthew
Hey Matthew:
Thanks for getting back with me - no issues. I just followed the documentation in the Users Guide - hopefully it will work. :-)
Thanks,
Tim
