TMS320F28027F: Question about delta connection motor parameter.

Hi Champ,

When using the InstaSPIN FOC, if the motor is three phase delta connection, anything code need to change? and anything need to take care?

When i use LCR meter to test three phase delta connection motor stator resistor and inductor, and get the stator line to line resistor is X and line to line inductor is Y, how to calculate below motor parameter?

InstaSPIN-FOC doesn't need to change anything to spin the delta or star connection type motor, that means you don't need to about the connection type, just need to identify the motor parameters using lab02b/c, and set them in user.h.

For star connection type, it must be divided by 2. For delta connection type, will be divided by 6.

Sorry, Johson, misleading you, both are divided by two if you used an LCR to measure the R and L. Divided by 6 is only used to convert the line-line value in star connection type in a datasheet if the motor will be used as delta connection.
