Hi

How to create random open circuit fault in the power electronic converter using the EPWM module (TMS320F2808). What registered need to be configured? The program is not running in flash mode.

  • Waseem,

Sorry I am struggling to understand your question.

Are you trying to create a fault in your system, or are you trying to respond to a fault in your system?

If you are trying to create a fault, this is very system dependent and I don't think I can help here.

If you are trying to respond to a fault in you system I would recommend that you look at the Trip-Zone submodule. It allows you to force the PWMs output Low or High when faults occur. There are many register involved in this, but they should be described in the ePWM User's Guide.

To help you move the program from RAM to Flash I would recommend that you look at section 10 of the  F2808 multi-day workshop. It was made to help users understand what is required to do this on a C2000 device.

    Regards,
    Cody
