CCS/TMS320F28377D: the port CS and RD doesn't work when TI 28377D's EMIF works in asram mode

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I want to use the AD7616 as the external ADC. But after changing the register's as the ControlSuit support example code emif1_16bit_asram.c do, the ports mentioned in tittle doesn't show any difference. They stays high without any falling edge. I also tried flashing the example code into 28377d, and it still doesn't work. 

I'am still not clear about how the emif works. Is there something should be done after changing the emif registers and using the functions in F2837xD_Emif.c to get GPIO prepared?
