TMS320F2808: Error initialising emulator

I am using windows 10...ccstudio version 6.1.3....kit TMS320F2808......JTAG emulator.....the problem occurs after launch selected configuration is error initialising emulator.....and also I am unable to see the test connection since it will not highlight....can seome please help me out

Which emulator are you using? Can you make sure that the connection is proper

And also test connection is not showing up ...it does not highlight inorder to select.

Brijesh,

Please take a look at the below app note on debugging issues with the JTAG connection.

This will guide you through the correct order of operations to solve the issue. If this doesn't resolve the issue please go post the step you got through and it will help us get to the bottom of the issue more quickly.

Brijesh,
Have you installed the drivers for the emulator? I think in CCS v6 under "Help" there should be a "Install New SW" option. Pick Spectrum Digital from the drop down and see if that corrects the issue.

If the emulator is not in windows device manager, it must be a driver issue with the emulator.

Thanks for the reply....I am unable to download drivers for jtag from help menu....currently I am using on board jtag ...error which comes up is low power mode...I tried using jumpers ...since I don't have datasheet of the target board ,I am finding it difficult to deal with.....if u could be me the datasheet or user manual of TMS320C2000 Experiment kit USB docking station
