Hi,

Is there any function I can call either in ControlSUITE or C2000Ware or SYS/BIOS to convert data endianess? For example something like "HOST_TO_BIG_ENDIAN_SHORT(x)".

I understand that this uC works in Little Endian mode, am I correct?

Hi Adria,

Correct - the C28x is little endian. This is fixed in hardware; it's not something the user can change.

Are you looking for a function to just swap high and low words? I am not aware of one from TI but it's straightforward to do in assembly.

Thanks for the answer!

Yes, I meant to just swap. Okay if there is no API for that in TI I will do it myself. I just wanted to make sure before writing unnecessary code (in case there was some API like that available).
