in servo motor changing velocity while motor is running plan.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MOTORWARE, DESIGNDRIVE

I am using F28069M ,in  proj_lab 13b  (motorware 18) we are able to run profile ,but when motor start running we are not able to change speed of it while motor is executing motion profile.

some one said because spinTAC dose not support changing velocity ,

I want my drive to work by pulse and direction like all of servo drivers.so do you have any idea  on how to change velocity ?

would you please tell me  the differences between TMDXIDDK DesignDRIVE ,and HVkit (I know about encoder interface and current sensor are more),but i think both of them can be used  as a Servo Drive,am I right?

thanks for attention.

  • 1. Since the motion profile is generated with the velocity, acceleration, deceleration, and jerk, so these variables can't be changed during the running process. The spinTAC motion can't support your requirement in the current version.

    2. IDDK has more position sensor interface than HVkit, such as sin/cos, resolver sensor. The more detailed differences between TMDXIDDK DesignDRIVE and HVkit, please have a look at the below link.
