CCS/TMS320F28035: Adjust rgout and fe1thetaflux

Part Number: TMS320F28035
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I am using below path example code

C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\HVMotorCtrl+PfcKit_v2.1\HVACI_Sensorless

In this i am testing level 5 and 6.

when i am testing this file the rgout and fe1 thetaflux are not matching that means fe1 thetaflux is lead by rgout.

Actually fe1 thetaflux is fallowed by rgout but here it is reverse.

So how to solve this issue.

Below graph is showing theta is lead by rgout. Please tell me by which reason it is getting like this

please assist me with your knowledge.

  • Please ensure that the motor parameters are set correctly in the header file for the rotor flux estimation module, the RG module is initialized properly to set its StepAngleMax.

Both angles could be not the same, should be close with a little error in the most case.
  • hi,
    Thank you for your information.
When i am entering the motor parameters i have some doubts please clarify that also.
I have the motor phase to phase resistance and inductance only

    I don't have stator resistance,rotor resistance,stator inductance,rotor inductance,magnatizing inductance.
So please tell me how to calculate above parameters

Below are the motor resistance and inductance values measured by practically with multimeter(phase to phase).
    Resistance(ohm) Inductance(millihenry)
    R - Y 10.9 ohm 78.5 mH
    Y - B 10.9 ohm 77.8 mH
    B - R 10.7 ohm 77.7 mH

These are practical measured values from the motor.
From the above parameters how to find stator resistance, rotor resistance, stator inductance, rotor inductance, magnatizing inductance.
Please give me calculation document or you may calculate with these values.

Below are the another motor practical values.
    Resistance(ohm) Inductance(millihenry)
    R - Y 3.9 ohm 43.7 mH
    Y - B 3.6 ohm 46.3 mH
    B - R 3.6 ohm 49.8 mH

Note:I have only motor resistance and inductance practical values only.
we want to use different different motors so please suggest any referal document to calculate these values.
And also confirm the stator resistance and inductance means motor resistance and inductance ?
  • hi
i am waiting for your reply
  • hi,
why you are not answering this issue

please assist me with your knowledge
  • As replied to you, you must have all the required parameters of the motor, and that should be provided by the motor manufacturers. The Rs and Ls are phases to neutral resistance and inductance, Rr, Lr, and Lm are must have also.
  • Hi,
we have tried with the values as said by manufacturer even though we are not getting the rgout and fe1thetaflux properly.
Always fe1thetaflux is lead than rgout.
i am not able to understand how to solve this issue.
  • The output of RG module will be close to the output of FE module, but they are not totally equal to each other, will have a small difference even the motor parameter is correct. Of course, the theta and speed are not right if the motor parameter is not correct.
