Hi ,

I need to Run PMSM motor on TMS320F28379D Delfino Board.

Can you suggest which type of Hardware I need to run PMSM motor and can be done on TMS320F28379D Board ?

The F28379D Launchpad is compatible with the BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM booster pack - that combination can be used as a low-cost evaluation to drive a PMSM. There is also www.ti.com/.../DRV8301-HC-C2-KIT...

As Todd mentioned, you might find the related supporting tools like BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM or BOOSTXL-3PHGANINV as below link, and you could find some example project to support these tools with TMS320F28379D launchPad in controlSUITE.

Hi...

Most of all motor driver product i find in TI's website is for BLDC and other motors. There is no motor driver for PMSM.

Can you guide me?

As replied to you in another thread you posted, most gate drive could support BLDC, PMSM, and ACIM, you should apply a different control algorithm for each type of motor. Unless the motor driver you mentioned that is embedded control algorithm. Both kits just use a gate drive for motor control, the control algorithm will be programmed in TMS320F28379D for motor drive.
