TMS320F28379D: EQEP encoder counter only gives values in 128 increments.

I wanna get the exact counts from an encoder. EQEP encoder counter only gives values in 128 increments.

this is the eqep block setting

this is the 1st display value

2nd display value

3rd display value

Like this those are increment in 128 and I think that is not the no of counts. what should I do to get the exact counts?

Hi Rangana,

Since you are using Matlab Simulink SW to configure eQEP, I would suggest you posting this question in matlab forum, as they will be able assist you with what their code is doing with eQEP configuration and help with your issue.

If you can capture the eQEP configuration that gets generated from this, I can take a look at it to see what is going wrong. I need to know how the eQEP registers are configured in order to assist you.
