Hello,

I want to use modbus RTU for TMS320F28069 Launchpad on matlab platform. I came to know that I can RS232 TO RS485 converter in between two boards via UART pins. Am I correct? Can you provide any further programming details about this.

Please clarify on what help you need, is it H/W related (i.e. RS232-RS485 conversion) or S/W related (i.e. implementing Modbus RTU protocol on Matlab).

Sir I want to design model in software that would work on hardware. So initially help me in software and then after hardware requirement of it.

Hi,

We don't support MODBUS implementation for the C2000 target from our hardware support package. For stuff that are not supported, it is usually the customers who implement the same using options like S-functions to interface the C code in the MATLAB/Simulink to implement a given feature. This S-Function block can later to made part of the application model that is ready for deployment to the C2000 target. We also support consulting services which can help user to come up with the implementation. I would encourage to look in to the following post for more details.
