My DSP is resetting randomly while in operation. I'm using it to control a full bridge power supply.

I've monitored the XRSn, and VDDIO rails, but everything looks good. I'd expect to see the XRSn line get pulled low during a POR or BOR, but I see no such thing. Additionally, I do not see any flags in the RESC register.

Thoughts?

Hi Matthew,

If XRSn is always high then how do know DSP is getting reset? Also does it happens when you run some application on device?

Hi Vivek,

The reason I suspect that it is resetting, is that it spontaneously reverts to the default state. It only happens when I'm running the inverter control at maximum.

Matthew,

Have you checked that stack is not getting corrupted which could cause your code to jump to some unexpected location?

Simple method is just put the break point where CPU enters the default state and look at your stack if it's going beyond assigned range. Or Just increase the stack size and see if that solves the issue.
