CCS/TMS320F2812: about SCI

Hi， whether ”SciaRegs.SCICCR.bit.LOOPBKENA=0;” or ”SciaRegs.SCICCR.bit.LOOPBKENA=1;” when the PC send data to 2812, the PC receives the same data always. then the regist SCIRXBUF of the 2812 has no data to receive. why?

the flash is locked, so I debug it in SRAM.

hi ,

I believe you are trying the echoback example.

SciaRegs.SCICCR.bit.LOOPBKENA= 0/1 is applicable when data is sent from the device .

But in this case i see that you are sending from the PC and receiving back ?

Are you sending continuous data to the device to see data received on the RXBUF??
