Hi,

I would like to log the voltage values from my sensing board using CAN communication in XDS110 debug probe.

Is it possible?If yes, could you guide me for the same.

CAN communication is independent of the XDS110 debug probe. If you want to log data using CAN, you could do that via a CAN-USB dongle. You could get one for around $200. These dongles typically come with some API that you could leverage to import data via the PC's USB port.

Hareesh,

It is given in the XDS user guide(sprui94) that the probe expansion header has the CAN functionality . I wanted to know whether it can be used for communication and data logging.

Section 2.5.1 of SPRUI94 says this:

"The XDS110 probe supports a 30-pin IDC female socket with .100 inch pitch. It exposes additional functionality of the XDS110 debug processor (TMC4129) for add-on modules. The signal mapping for this connection is shown in Table 2, but utilizing this interface is generally reserved for TI and designated third parties that have the ability to integrate the add-on functionality into the entire system".
