SM320F2812: Reserved Memory in the Memory Map

I had a question regarding this DSP memory map, there are numerous “Reserved” address locations.  My question is:  Is there physically memory cells on die that just not hooked up/powered up in silicon or do those address locations marked “Reserved” physically not exist on the die?

    Paul,
    In most of the cases, these do not map to physical memory within the device.
    I suspect most of the holes in the map are artifacts of matching the memory map from the 24x/240x devices.

    I am uncertain if I can obtain this level of detail into the design.

    I can check with the catalog team to see if they have any insight. However, without detailed analysis of the design database I don't think I will be able to have a more definitive answer.
    Can you indicate reasoning for needing this information? This may help in getting appropriate answer.

    I was able to get in touch with someone very familiar with the design.
    In general extremely detailed information into the unused portions of the memory map will not be available.
    However, this product is a little older, and is more straight forward in that respect. I was able to confirm that the memory map correctly represents the physical SRAMs in the design. There is not any SRAMs in design where it is listed as reserved.
