I want to connect cc3200 module to TMS320F28379D-launchpad. Tell me the different ways to do? If not possible by this device, what is the best ti board i should work on establishing wifi connection to Launchpad
Naveenkumar,
I am curious what your goal is? the CC3200 is a full featured microcontroller with on-chip Wi-Fi. Are you only seeking to add Wi-Fi to the F28379D?
It looks like the CC3200 has a few LaunchPads - the CC3220S-LAUNCHXL and CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL. These are full LaunchPads with on-board debug probes.
This is not typical, but the boards do look compatible to be plugged into each other. I.e. you could plug the CC3200 LaunchPad onto the F28379D LP. Your best options are SPI and I2C for your communications port. Be sure to enable the isolation features on the Launchxl-F28379D by pulling JP1, JP2, and JP3, as the power supplies from the CC3200 LaunchPad will power the F28379D.
Alternatively, you could go for the CC3100MODBOOST BoosterPack with the Launchxl-F28379D. The CC3100 is also a Wi-Fi device within the Simplelink platform.

Mark
