LAUNCHXL-F28379D: GPIO Mux Question

Are there any downfalls to mux-ing the same peripheral to two different GPIO Pins? ..for example connecting a logic analyser to one set of SPI pins and the peripheral to the other.

I have never tried this. I do not believe for SPI you will have issues. Especially if your clock speed isn't high.

I asked some team memeber and this should be fine especially for output pins and the use case of probing the signals.

Thanks. I figured. I just saw a warning about not doing it in the example code so I just wanted to make sure. The warning is probably about causing some sort of interference.
