Hi,
Please reference to the F280049 TRM, figure 18-41 Trip-Zone Submodule Mode Control Logic
In the diagram, there are three paths for the DCxEVTy.force digital compare force signals. One path goes through the Cycle By Cycle Trip events, a second goes through the one shot trip event path, and finally a third is routed directly to each EPWM A or B trip logic. The CBC and OSHT paths are common to both ePWM A and B, while the direct path is unique to A and B PWMs (DCA->ePWMA trip logic, DCB->ePWMB trip logic)?.
It is not clear from the docs exactly how the direct paths work. The force signal is a pulse. Does the direct path work like the CBC with a clear on CTR=PRD or Zero?
Please pass along any details on this direct path and how it should be configured in an application. It would be very nice if this direct path could be act in an OSHT manner.
Thanks,
Eric
