Hello,

I have Ezdsp f28335 and I connected 5V to a GPIO17 and GPIO48 set as an input by mistake. After power up, DS201 (emulator LED) just stays ON for a second and then turns OFF and ccs can not connect to the kit. Any chance to solve the issue or I should bye a new one?

Parham,
While it does appear that the board/device may be damaged, would it be possible to measure the output of the LDO that takes the 5V and makes 3.3V/1.9V for the MCU? If you indeed see this drooping then I suspect there is damage to the board. If you see nominal voltage, then we can continue the debug.

I see 3.3V/1.9V across CT4 and CT3. I renewed the dsp chip and still does not work. Also I tested the JTAG with another board and I have no issue with the ccs, JTAG and connection to the other board.

Parham,
Do you have an external JTAG pod; if so will it connect to this board? I'm not certain if the failure is with the MCU or the on-board emulator(FTDI).

Thanks for following the issue. I have XDS510LC and it does not connect. I ordered new DSP chips and will update you as soon as I check with the new ones.
