TMS320F280049: Byte count disabled with purely I2C mode on PMBus submodule

Part Number: TMS320F280049

Champs,

I am asking this for our customer.

Because of limited I2C modules, they want to use the PMBus module as a purely and simple I2C to write data onto an external EEPROM.

We are aware that PMBus can be used as a purely I2C mode.

But it seems block write will automatically transmit the byte count.

Because they only want to write data to an EEPROM, is it possible for them to disable the byte count function?

That is, to send data without sending the byte count.
