LAUNCHXL-F280049C: Step files for Launchpads

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F280049C

I am currently working on a project where I want to use the F280049C Launchpad as a controller during the prototyping stage. I need to prepare a presentation including a 3D image of the final design.

My problem is that the C2000 Ware does contain the Board file with a good 3D representation (I checked in the Altium viewer) but since my company is using Orcad I can't get a 3D export of an Altium file. Could somebody kindly do a step export that can be included into a 3D mechanical design software and upload it?

On a general note, I think it would be great if TI included those in the C2000 ware generally as it would make mechanical integration a lot easier for all of us.

    Hi Peter,

    Unfortunately TI will not be releasing the STEP files, though they can be generated with Altium as we provide all of the design files needed to do so. You may be able to find other software to do this as well.

    Perhaps someone else will reply with the sources, but we are unable to do so.
