Compiler/INSTASPIN-BLDC: some question about the phase current of BLDC driving by InstaSPIN-FOC

Hi,

If drivering the BLDC use the InstaSPIN-FOC，the phase current of BLDC will also be sinusoidal signal？ or Square wave signal？ Because I find that the phase current of my motor（BLDC）is distorted(not sinusoidal signal,nor Square wave signal),you may refer to the figure。

1.Will the phase current showed in the picture deteriorate the FAST,or lead to the error angle estimate？

2.What factors can lead to bad phase current wave？

1. InstaSPIN-FOC follows BEMF shape to control the current output, the pure sinusoidal or trapezoidal/square shape of the current signal is just shown in an ideal case. For a real case, the current waveform depends on motor specifications ( like BEMF waveform) and sampling signal quality of current/voltage.
2. As replied above, BEMF waveform of the motor and feedback current/voltage sampling.
