CCS/TMS320F28027: SCI BOOT

Can I select SCI BOOT by software ,ignore the boot pins?

It means I can select SCI BOOT ignore all of GPIO pins through the programming.

you can do that,but the GPIO control will be lost once the device resets. You need to have external mechanism to store the intent to switch to sci.
May be use a capacitor + resistor + inverter ?

you can permanently pull up GPIO34 as it is '1' for both SCI and flash.
Control only GPIO37 based on your need. GPIO37 - '1' is flash, '0' is sci.

Connnect inverter, resistor, cap to GPIO37. by default when cap is not charged it will read '0' but inverter will turn it to '1' so it can go to flash boot mode.

in appplication when you want to switch to sci, drive GPIO37 in o/p and allow for sufficient to for cap to get charged so when you trigger reset it will read '1', but inverter will toggle to '0' forcing the sci boot.

10nF cap and 1K resistor. But please check on scope the behavior of charge and discharge cycles.
