CCS/TMS320F28027: MATLAB model of the Peak Current Mode Control

Part Number: TMS320F28027

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi guys,

Is there a MATLAB/Simulink model of the Digital Peak Current Mode control with slope compensation (High Voltage Phase Shifted Full Bridge example) which is available for evaluation and testing?

Thank you.

Regards,

Ivan

  • Ivan,
To my knowledge this does not exist natively, however all the functionality that is implemented in the c code portions should be straigtforward to construct in the MathWorks GUI. This particular example does have some assembly level functions that you would need to call from the Mathworks generated code as they are time critical and manipulating bits in a very prescriptive manner to optimize for the C28x pipeline.

    Best,
    Matthew
  • Is there any documentation how to construct the MathWorks GUI using the example code?
    Thank you.
  • Ivan,
Sorry for the lateness of my reply back. I think it would be a matter of duplicating the C code bit field setups in the drop downs for config that MathWorks provides. A bit like writing your code with only Mathworks, but with the assitance of the C example code from TI.
