TMS320F280049: SCIB stop working when running SCIA for a while

Part Number: TMS320F280049

Set SCIA at 19200 baud rate and SCIB at 2.5M.

Make SCIA and SCIB running at the same time in the beginning. I find SCIB will stop working after running for a while.

So I make below test.

a. SCIB is working well if don't run SCIA sending and receive code.

b. SCIB stop accepting data when SCIA is running.

Could you help analysis what might be the cause? Thanks.

hi Daniel,

Are you trying to communicated between SCI A and B ?
What are you trying to achieve here ?

Hi MEGHANA,

I want to use SCIA and SCIB working at the same time. Rather than communicate between SCIA and SCIB.

hi Daniel,

Are you using FIFOs for the SCI communication?
Is there any difference in behavior if the bauds are set differently ?
Using interrupts should help.
