What are the differences in architecture between CLLLC and CLLC ? Why choose one over the other.
Instead of me acting as a translator, I will recommend the customer look at the following thesis

CLLLC and CLLC can be designed to be the same for the converter, however a closed form solution from CLLLC -> CLLC is required.
The additional L on the secondary side is an easy way to get better control/degree of freedom on the switching frequency in the reverse power flow mode. It is feasible to reduce CLLLC -> CLLC however I was unable to perform a closed-loop solution to this issue. Also for high-frequency CLLLC because of use of planar magnetics and increasingly PCB winding transformer the L on sec comes naturally and is not an issue to design.
