My customer has been working with the Resonant DC/DC board, but have not been able to reprogram the control card:

I was able to verify my xds100 configuration file can connect yesterday but get a timeout error when trying to enter a debug session.

C28xx: Error occurred during flash operation: Timed out waiting for target to halt while executing FlashAPIInterface2802xV2_00.out

C28xx: Flash operation timed out waiting for the algorithm to complete. Operation cancelled.

C28xx: File Loader: Memory write failed: Unknown error

C28xx: GEL: File: C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\TMDSHVRESLLCKIT_v1.0\HVLLC\F2802x_FLASH\HVLLC.out: Load failed.

Is this a debug configuration mistake?

Hi Vikrorija,

I think your problem is very similar to the issue mentioned in the thread below. So you might need to try the depletion recovery first.

Hi Chen,

Per customer:

I have not been able to try depletion recovery as it seems my machine has gone several steps backwards. I am unable to connect to the USB device anymore (although it appears to be installed and recognized correctly). I was able to get a response from this command last week.

Would it be better at this point to uninstall everything and start again from step one?

Viktorija,

Is your device locked? If so, I'm wondering whether ECSL logic is tripping your JTAG and preventing you to get connected to the device.

Did you already try using "Wait boot mode". This allows you to connect to the device even if device is locked.

How can I tell if the device is locked? Where do I enable wait boot mode (JTAG/USB setting, source code, etc.)?

Viktorija,

I believe you are using F2802x device.

1) How to get the device in Wait boot mode?

Refer to Table 2-4. Boot mode selection

In short:

Set pull down GPIO37 and pull up GPIO34
Power up the device
Connect to the device

2) How to check whether the device is locked?

Once you are connected to the device, check CSMSCR.SECURE bit. If CSMSCR.SECURE = 1, device is locked.
