TMS320F280049: Code Security Module

Sir/Madam,

For this dsp, in technical reference manual(SPRUI33A), it is written that passwords for code security have changed from 0xFF to other values.

Now if I dont want to use this dcsm module, do I still have to write CSMkeys in DcsmBank0Z1Regs and DcsmBank0Z2Regs?

    Hi Rishabh,

    You don’t have to write the CSMKEYs if you don’t wish to use the DCSM module. The Boot Code will take care of this automatically for you. If you are using in debug mode(on CCS), then the GEL file will also take care of this for you.
