In the scia_xmit operand, what does the last part, "2,2" mean?

Hi Ken,
I'm not using any example. I'm using Matlab/Simulink to generate C/C++ code and the code has only a constant block and a serial TX block. I was looking at the generated C code by Simulink coder and wondering what are those values. I assume they should be data type and length.

Hi Khashayar,

Those value represent msg_datatype and data_length.
For example - if you plan to transmit - a 255 with data type set to uint8_t, then these values will be 1,1.
For example - if you plan to transmit - a 65535 with data type set to uint16_t, then these values will be 2,2.
In the later case data_length is 2 because we send 8 bits at a time.
