CCS/TMS320F28374S: How much work required to move project from 2806x to 28374S

I have developed a relatively complex system based on 28069 mcu, lots of features, such as CLA, DMA, USB, ePWM, usb bootloader etc. are used.

Is it easy to transfer the code from a existing 28069 project to 28374S?

Wang,

There are some similarities and differences between the F28069 and F28374S. I recommend reviewing both the F28069 and F28379D workshops. The lab exercises follow the same flow for this very reason - to help with migration. Please note that the F28379D is a dual-core device, however all of the lab exercise, except for lab 11 (IPC), are based on a single-core application. Below please find the links for each workshop:

Start by reviewing/comparing the lab solution code for each device.

Please check the Device Comparison table in each datasheet. That would highlight the principal differences (available memory, peripheral mix etc). There are other differences that may not be readily apparent. For example, 28374 has a new CAN module that is not code-compatible with eCAN.
