We are about to release (12/14 or 12/30) an IEC60730 Self Test Libary for Piccolo F2802x, F2803x that checks

Not exactly, and certainly not fully.  Some of the code could be re-use and re-targeted, but none of the peripherals.

We don't have plans to go back to support F2812. We are looking at what is needed from our Delfino applications.

Customer needs thiis self test library to pass IEC60730 for their product : PV inverter.

Besides, this library is usable for F2808. Because the customer uses both F28022 and F2808 in PV inverter.

The Piccolo self test library is nearly complete, but we are trying to tie up some loose ends still.  We wanted to release it in yesterday's controlSUITE update but it was not quite ready. We now plan to release in the next on 1/11.  We may have it ready by first week in January, but I will be out of the office. I'll forward this so perhaps you can get the early final version.

The bulk of the testing is on peripherals, so no, it is not completely applicable to the F280x, though there is some re-use.  No plans to do a version for F280x, we are looking at updating for F2833x.

Update on the IEC60730 Self Test

- The Piccolo 027 and 035 Libs are nearly complete, we ran into a few issues with some documentation (it's always documentation!).

- These should be out in the next controlSUITE release (early February)

We then plan to quickly support:

1. All devices in Piccolo 02x / 03x series

2. F2833x

3. New Piccolo 06x Floating Point

4. Opcode Testing for all

We hope to have 1 and 2 in the March controlSUITE release.  3 and 4 to follow in Q2.

I have a task that obtain the SIL certification with F28335 within February.

I have solved the ROM, REM test but the could not get the solution about CPU test. 

It is big problem for me.

I carefully ask that could I get a code as the pseude code for cpu test. please!

The Piccolo IEC60730 Class B software library is in the final review stage and will be available for release soon.  This test software uses CRC hardware to quickly test FLASH, ROM, RAM, and CPU registers, at power-up and periodically.

1)  Is there an updated release timeframe for this test (for both Piccolo and Delfino)?

2) Is this test going to be given in library form or source code form?  If it is going to be given in library form, will the source code be available (possibly via NDA or some other similar method)?

All of the functions will be complete and tested by next Friday, but there is still work to be done on the documentation side for a controlSUITE release.

For those that need it desperately please let us know and we can send the pre-release version.

Do you plan to certify the POST library according to IEC 60730-1 at VDE? It would be pretty useful for many software engineers using TI DSCs.

I would like to get a pre-release version of POST library. Please provide a link where I can download it.

No, we do not plan to certify the library itself. We plan to give customers the tools to have their system certified.  We haven't gotten a good explanation on if we could certify the library and allow customers then NOT have to certify their own system anyways...

For a pre-release version of the IEC60730 Piccolo Library you will need to be in contact with a local TI FAE. The code is working, but is not yet fully documented.

When do you release the IEC60730 Piccolo Library?

We expect to release some code regarding IEC60730 in 3Q12. 

Until then, the proper method to see if we can support your needs earlier is through a TI FAE.
