The XDS110 will not pull the TRST pin high with the probe attached.

Any recommendations to fix this?

Leo,

The TRST signal is asserted depending on the device and configuration used. Several devices leave this pin in level high, given they have provision for 4-wire JTAG only.

What device are you using?

We are using XDS110 with TMS320F28377D on our custom hardware. The Blackhawk probe works out of the box without any issues. However, the XDS110 will not pull the TRST pin high with the probe attached.

Leo,

The F28x reference designs traditionally have a pull down resistor on TRST that is too strong. This is mentioned in the error "Invalid data read back" of the Debugging JTAG page, which also links to a relevant e2e discussion:
