TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT: Overcurrent threshold OCP/TZ-1 protection

Part Number: TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE, TMS320F28335

Dear TI Hello,

We are using the TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT to control an AC machine and, we are using the TI project for sensorless control in the controlSUITE,

Could anyone please explain to me why the OCP/TZ-1 protection is not working with the TMS320F28335 DSP,

We adjust the potentiometer to stop the 3PWMs, we set the jumper to the position 2 and 3,

We want to stop the AC converter if the current exceeds 3A, so the voltage we set to the potentiometer (Overcurrent threshold) is V =3*3.3/10+1.65=2.65V (Base current is 10A),

We tried also to configured the OCP to the TZ4, and we modified the code to trip with this Trip zone input,

Normally it should works without setting the OCP (GPIO-15) because the TZ-1 is already configured, but we tried anyway, the same issue remained,

Thank you in advance,

Regards,

S.Tarik,
