C2000-CGT:TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT

Part Number: C2000-CGT
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSCNCD28035ISO, CONTROLSUITE

Tool/software: Outils de conception WEBENCH®

HELLO,

my questions are about the TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT ,MCU C2000 ,1,5KW,

-does this controler could works for a BDLC direct drive motor SENSORLESS,3 PHASES ,310 VDC (around 650 watt)?

-if yes,is this kit complete or shout i buy some others items with it?

-is this device equiped of H bridge at least...

i am looking for a system that can control this BDLC direct drive with high voltage and low amps, does this item fit for my set up?

thanks to care

regards

  • Yes, you may need to buy a MCU control card such (TMDSCNCD28035ISO) to work with it.
Sensorless code is available to control the motor in sinusoidal mode, not in 6 step mode.
The inverter is a 3 phase two level inverter.
    It is capable of 300V/10A.
  • THANKS for your answer, however i dont understand something: you said the 6 steps is not the good way to run a bdlc sensorless 3 phases as mine, but normally it is suppose to work with pulsing DC current, witche give trapezoidal sinusoide....the sin that you are talking about is not a pure sin, right? otherwise it is considering as AC current? my bdlc cannot work on AC current...
please could you tell me more ? am loose lol
    thanks ;)
  • I said sensorless code is available to control the motor in sinusoidal mode, and not '6 step is not the good way'.
If you are looking for trapezoidal control, the device is capable of it, we have example BLDC code but is not supported by us as the engineers that developed them are not around here.
If you have installed controlsuite. you can find the examples at
    C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\HVMotorCtrl+PfcKit_v2.1\HVBLDC_Sensored

    Hope it helps.
  • hello sir,

thanks for your explanations that helped me a lot:

i understood some days ago why my set up doesn t work: it is because the opposite as you explain: i tryed to use sinusoidal method on a bdlc sensorless tri-phases DC motor ,that need what you explain ,trapezoidale control ;)

here is my problem,i discoved it by watching signals with my osciloscope brand new, thats why..

so could you show me some links of trapezoidals codes succeptible to do the job i need with my arduino ?

    thanks to care

    regards

  • Pls search it in the web for more information. Thanks.
