TMS320F28374D: Flash and safety

Hello everybody ,

please about flash .

The Flash memory is protected by ECC, which is always enabled at reset and also after reset in our application.

-The first question is if there is an application note or an example which is able to show in C code how to monitor the SECDED Logic ?

-The second question is if there is an application note or an example C code which is able to show how use SECDED Logic in test mode ?I was interested in inserting and reveal single error in data and address.

You can find SECDED related examples in Safety diagnostics library at www.ti.com/.../C2000-SAFETI-DIAGNOSTICS-LIB.
Look at the docs provided in the package and let us know if you have any specific questions.
Search for ECC in the doc titled "C2000™ SafeTI™ Diagnostic Library for TMS320F2837xD, TMS320F2837xS, and TMS320F2807x API USER’S GUIDE.".

Hope you already looked at TRM Flash chapter for ECC/ECC test mode related info.

As per your offline email, you are looking for RAM ECC details.

You can find the same in TRM's section 3.11.1.8 Memory Error Detection, Correction and Error Handling.
