LAUNCHXL-F280049C: How to use both CAN _A and CAN_B on the same launchpad

Hello,

I have purchased LAUNCHXL-F280049C. On this launchpad pins are present only for one CAN module. I want to test and use both CAN modules in my system.

1) How to use second CAN module on the same launchpad.

2) Do I need a external CAN transceiver module to use second CAN.

Hi NIsha,

Yes you require a CAN Transceiver for the second CAN on the Launchpad.

can I use MCP2551 CAN transceiver to use second CAN on launchpad.

Hi Nisha,

Yes you can use a CAN Transceiver for the other CAN Instance on the launchpad.
