TMS320F280049: ECAP module electrical characteristics

Part Number: TMS320F280049

Hi expert,

I wonder how can ECAP determine a rising and falling edge.

I get below information form datasheet:

My assumption is a rising edge is determined by voltage changed from VIL to VIH and keep in VIH for 2tc(SCO) long. Does my understanding correct?

BTW, I didn't get any explanation on tc(SCO), what does this clock mean?

Thanks
