Dear Team:

Can I use F28377D to control 4 PMSMs with resolver? How to configura the hardware resources?

Tms320f28377d has 12 pairs of pwm, which can drive four PMSM motors. And SDFM has 8 channels, which can be used for current testing of four motors, but its work needs PWM clock, and 12 pairs of PWMs have been used up. In addition, the PWM signal is also needed for spin excitation and decoding, and there is no PWM source.

The overall feeling is that resources are insufficient. Ask for details.

Hi,

You can use eCAP module in APWM mode - this can serve as excitation signal for SDFM.
Refer to "section 16.4 Capture and APWM Operating Mode" in the Technical reference manual.
There is also an example available for this mode of operation.
