Hi All,

I am running the PMSM motor , MTR2 Dyno Motor with DRV8305 Inverter. I am facing some issue while running i am getting distorted current waveform as below

Can anyone suggest what may wrong.? I checked the all inverter configuration are fine and motor is running with little sound.

What example project are you using in controlSUITE? And what build level are you working on? Would you like to provide more information that helps us to understand and solve your question?

I am using MonoMTRservo (MonoMtrServo_377s_v1_00_00_00) , and Build level 4 , all build till 4 are working fine but only current waveform is distorted in every build.

It looks like the pwm pattern is wrong, check all three phases pulse widths.

Updating for benefit of the community; this was caused by the SW based PWM calculations causing integer roll over and feeding these values into the PWM, showing up as the above distortion.
