TMS320F28069M: Initially vibration in motor

Hello,

I am using F2806X ISO-CONTROLCARD [R0.4] with USBDockingStation [R3], I am running BLDC motor of 60V, 250W attached with wheel for two wheeler application with sample code which is located here C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\DRV8312-C2-KIT_v128\BLDC_Sensored. I have my own driver card with driver IC IR2104S which is similar to DRV8312 as used in DRV8312EVM Rev D board. DFuncDesired is directly controlled by throttle.

Problem is initially there is a vibration in wheel then after it runs smooth. whether it is due to hardware or software?

1. Check the current sensing circuit to make sure the signal is clear if you are using the current closed loop.

2. Tune the Gains of the speed PI controller.

I was not using current sensing nor PI but now i have introduced LEVEL6 and changed SpeedRef as per throttle input. Now I am able to softly start the motor.

How can I apply more torque initially?

The output torque of the motor depends on speed and load since you are using speed close loop. You might check if pid1_spd.param.Umax is set to near _IQ(1.0) as the below two lines code. The _IQ(1.0) is the maximum torque setting value for the motor in the project.

pid1_spd.param.Umax = _IQ(0.95);
pid1_spd.param.Umin = _IQ(0.0);
